Weather - Several traffic accidents on slippery roads
Winter had Schleswig-Holstein firmly in its grip on Tuesday: snow and icy conditions caused a number of accidents on the roads. In the districts of Pinneberg and Segeberg, the police initially recorded 32 accidents since the morning. In most cases, vehicles skidded off the road or there were rear-end collisions. Three people were reportedly slightly injured.
Things were somewhat calmer in the Steinburg and Dithmarschen districts. In Itzehoe, a car hit a pedestrian. The 19-year-old was taken to hospital with minor injuries. In total, there were ten traffic accidents in the two districts, three of them on the Autobahn 23 (Hamburg - Heide). There were no further injuries.
