Several hundred thousand euros in damage after fire in Passau
The fire at a four-sided farm in Passau caused several hundred thousand euros worth of damage. According to the police, two of the five buildings on the property were fully engulfed in flames on Wednesday night. The fire department was able to prevent the fire from spreading to the other three buildings. According to the police, the farm was unoccupied. No one was injured. It was initially unclear how the fire started.
The fire in Passau wasn't an isolated incident in Lower Bavaria, as several other rural areas have also been affected by fires recently. Despite the efforts of the fire department, the damage from these fires in Lower Bavaria has collectively reached significant amounts.
