Traffic accident - Seven-year-old dies in traffic accident in Bad Dürrenberg
A seven-year-old girl has died in a traffic accident in Bad Dürrenberg in the Saale district. The child collided with a van on Merseburger Straße on Monday afternoon, the police reported in the evening. First responders, an emergency doctor and rescue workers initiated resuscitation measures.
The seven-year-old was then taken by helicopter to the hospital in Halle(Saale), according to the statement. She died there in the evening. The 42-year-old driver of the van and one passenger were uninjured. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
