Seven employees of a company were injured in a fire of a machinery. The machine went up in flames in the night for reasons yet unknown, as the police reported. The seven employees, six men and one woman aged between 24 and 55 years, tried to extinguish the flames - which they failed to do. A 36-year-old had to be taken to a clinic for further treatment.

The fire department arrived with over 30 personnel. The damage was estimated to be around 30,000 Euros. The police are investigating the cause of the fire from all angles, as a spokesperson stated. Further information was provided by this person and they referred to ongoing investigations.

The fire department managed to contain the blaze in Görlitz, a city in Saxony, but not before causing significant damage to the company. Due to the severity of their injuries, the remaining six employees and the woman were transported to the local hospital as an emergency measure.
