Seriously injured in traffic accident in Bamberg
A 20-year-old driver has been seriously injured in a traffic accident in Upper Franconia. The man had to undergo emergency surgery, as the Bamberg-Land police announced on Sunday. His condition is stable. The 20-year-old was driving at high speed in Bamberg on Saturday when his car skidded, crashed into a fence and landed in a nearby ditch, they said. The driver was presumably not wearing a seatbelt. His passenger was slightly injured.
In Upper France, unfortunately, traffic accidents are not uncommon. Another incident occurred in Bamberg, where high-speed driving led to a serious collision.
