Investigations - Seriously injured in an argument at a wedding: perpetrators on the run

After a fight at a wedding party in Cologne that left three people seriously injured, the police are still looking for the perpetrators. "We are evaluating witness statements and the investigation is ongoing," said a spokesperson on Sunday. The three men, aged 34, 40 and 45, were injured by cuts and stabs on Friday evening. They underwent emergency surgery in hospitals. There is no danger to life, said the police spokesman.

The background to the altercation in front of an event hall was initially unclear. According to witnesses, the attackers are said to have fled in cars. A homicide squad is investigating.
