Crime - Serious sexual abuse of children: Verdict expected
In the trial against a man for alleged sexual and serious sexual abuse of children, a verdict is to be reached on Monday (9.30 a.m.) at Neubrandenburg District Court. According to the indictment, the 49-year-old sexually abused a friend of his son in 54 cases. The acts are said to have taken place between 2018 and 2021. In July 2019, the accused allegedly abused another boy.
According to the indictment, the boys were ten or eleven years old at the time of the offense or at the beginning of the offense period. The exact days of the offense could not be determined.
According to a court spokesperson, the accused from the Müritz region did not confess. A verdict had actually been expected a week earlier. According to the court, however, several motions for evidence led to a postponement.
