Serious robbery in supermarket: CID investigates
A masked man robbed a supermarket in Erkner (Oder-Spree district) on Wednesday evening and threatened two women with a pistol-like object. The unknown man entered the store shortly before closing time and went straight to the checkout, where he threatened two female employees, a 25-year-old and a 28-year-old, and demanded money, a police spokesman said on Thursday. After the women opened the till, the robber pocketed the money and fled. The two women were unharmed. The criminal police are now investigating the identity of the perpetrator for aggravated robbery. The police are not yet able to say how much cash was taken.
The robber used a pistol-like object during the aggravated robbery. The investigation into the crime involves investigating the involvement of weapons.
