- Serious accident on A5 with three injured
In a car accident on the A5 between Alsfeld East and the Hattenbach motorway junction, a man was seriously injured early Monday morning. As reported by the police Monday morning, his car left the road for unknown reasons, hit the guardrail, and spun back onto the road. The man was seriously injured by flying debris and was airlifted to the hospital. Two other drivers from the other vehicles sustained minor injuries and were also taken to the hospital. An expert has been called in to determine the cause of the accident.
