Traffic - Serious accident in the Märkisch-Oderland district
A 58-year-old man suffered serious injuries in an accident on Tuesday morning on the B168 federal highway near Heckelberg-Brunow (Märkisch-Oderland district). For reasons as yet unexplained, the man's car left the road and crashed into a tree, said a police spokesman. The 58-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries. No other people were injured. The police are now investigating the cause and course of the accident.
