In the crash of a balcony, two elderly folks in the Zollernalb district endured severe injuries. As per police records, an outsider, who fortunately did not plummet and remained unhurt, underwent a scare and was also transferred to the hospital. The catalyst behind the balcony's wooden structure falling apart was initially a mystery.

It was stated that a 76-year-old woman and her 81-year-old spouse were apparently on the initial-floor balcony of a dwelling in Albstadt when it partially caved in. They dropped around four meters. A helicopter rescued the man and transported him to the hospital, while an ambulance transferred his wife to a medical center. The fire department stabilized the remnants of the balcony construction.

The elderly couple's ordeal was due to an unfortunate balcony accident. After the incident, numerous discussions emerged about the need for regular balcony inspections to prevent similar accidents.
