Lake Constance district - Senior citizen dies in swimming accident

A 87-year-old senior drowned in Immenstaad (Bodenseekreis) during a swimming accident. The woman had gone swimming in the Strandbad Immenstaad on Saturday, according to the police statement given in the evening. Later, she was found floating lifeless on the water surface. She was pulled to shore, but the revival efforts of the DLRG were unsuccessful. Further details were initially unknown. The water police investigation is ongoing.
