Illegal activities - Senior Citizen Deceived by Imposter Pretending to Be a Police Officer, Loses 3000 Euros

Tuesday evening in Seelow (Märkisch-Oderland) saw three instances where fraudulent calls were made. The crooks, posing as police officers, inquired about their victims' jewelry and wealth, using as a cover story that they had apprehended someone at the train station. These scammers attempted to defraud their victims. Reports were filed against these suspicious calls.

It looks like these types of fraud efforts are quite widespread in the area, according to the spokesperson.
