Wetterau district - Senior citizen beats young pickpockets on the run with an umbrella
A senior citizen in Bad Nauheim(Wetterau district) used an umbrella to flee from two young pickpockets. The adolescents had threatened two women aged 81 and 82 with a knife during their walk in the spa gardens on Tuesday, as the police reported on Wednesday. Instead of handing over her handbag as demanded, one of the women threatened the attacker with her umbrella. The boys then ran away. According to the two senior citizens, the attackers were around 10 to 13 years old. The police are investigating and are looking for witnesses.
