Selenyj's Visit: Belgium Commits to Providing 30 Fighter Jets
Belgium joins other European countries in providing Ukraine with F-16 fighter aircraft. Pilots from Ukraine are currently undergoing training for these jets. During his trip, Zelenskyy will meet with instructors at the Melsbroek military airfield near Brussels.
Prior to this meeting, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo will sign a security deal with Zelenskyy. A joint press conference has also been scheduled, according to De Croo's office.
Earlier this week, Zelenskyy stopped by Spain. Spain committed to giving Ukraine $1 billion in military assistance during the visit, to strengthen their bilateral security ties.
