Crime - SEK operation in Coesfeld: Man surrenders
The police have taken a man into custody in his home in Coesfeld. He was in a state of mental distress, the police announced on Thursday evening. Special forces were also deployed as there were indications that the man might be armed. After discussions, he finally gave up and allowed himself to be taken away without resistance. He was admitted to a psychiatric ward. It initially remained unclear whether there were actually weapons in his apartment.
