A security firm employee was attacked and severely injured by two unknown assailants at a festival site in Frontenhausen (Dingolfing-Landau district). The 59-year-old was taken to a clinic with multiple facial fractures, police said. The man was working as a security guard during an event at the festival site.

The suspects entered the festival grounds early Sunday morning and stole a box containing tokens and a three-digit sum of money. After about half an hour, a vehicle left the festival grounds.
