- Second victory on the tour of Japan for VfB Stuttgart
VfB Stuttgart has won the second game of its Japan tour. The Swabian Bundesliga football team defeated Sanfrecce Hiroshima 5-2 (1-0) in another friendly match. Previously, the team coached by Sebastian Hoeneß had won 5-3 at Kyoto Sanga, coming back from a 0-3 deficit.
The goals for the runners-up were scored by Angelo Stiller (19th minute), the two returning loan players Ömer Beyaz (63rd) and Thomas Kastanaras (68th), new signing Nick Woltemade (79th), and Moussa Cissé (90+2).
