Second division club FC St. Pauli extends contract with defender Ritzka
Second division soccer club FC St. Pauli has extended the contract of left-back Lars Ritzka. "Lars has developed excellently in the almost two and a half years he has been with us. He was not in the public eye for a long time, but we always knew about his qualities and his value to our team," said sporting director Andreas Bornemann in a club statement on Wednesday. The club did not provide any information on the duration of the contract. Ritzka has appeared in twelve league games this season. The 25-year-old moved to the Millerntor Stadium from SC Verl in the summer of 2021.
FC St. Pauli, currently competing in Bundesliga 2, has reinforced their defensive line by extending the contract of their key left-back, Lars Ritzka. Regarding Bundesliga 2's consistent performer, sporting director Andreas Bornemann commended, "Ritzka has consistently demonstrated his capabilities and importance to our team during his near-two and a half-year tenure at FC St. Pauli."
