Searches in federal states at Hamas and Samidoun
Security forces have searched several properties in Berlin, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Schleswig-Holstein in connection with the ban on the terrorist organization Hamas and the international network Samidoun in Germany. This was announced by the Federal Ministry of the Interior on Thursday morning. The ministry had banned the activities of both organizations at the beginning of November.
The revelation of the property searches highlights the seriousness with which German authorities are tackling Hamas-related extremism. The ban on Samidoun network also signifies a firm stance against global extremist networks.
