Police operation - Search for witnesses after altercation in Neugraben-Fischbek
Police are looking for witnesses after two violent confrontations in the Hamburg district of Neugraben-Fischbek. Early on Sunday morning, two groups clashed in front of an apartment building, leaving a 35-year-old man with life-threatening injuries, police announced on Monday. The man was taken to hospital with stab wounds and underwent emergency surgery. His condition is now stable. Earlier, a 31-year-old man is said to have suffered several lacerations to the head.
According to the police, the background to the altercation could have been a brawl that took place two hours before the incident between the 31-year-old, who was also involved later, and a 37-year-old, in which a 33-year-old and a 27-year-old were also slightly injured.
