Law enforcement authorities busy at work[.] - Search for counterfeit papers conducted in Berlin and Brandenburg.
In a recent sweep, German law enforcement authorities raided properties in Berlin and Brandenburg believed to be hiding individuals who purchased forged documents. Over 38 homes in various neighborhoods of Berlin and 12 residences in various cities in Brandenburg were investigated by police officers.
According to a statement by a Federal Police representative, authorities found fake and manipulated IDs, passports, residence permits, and driver's licenses during these inspections. These forgeries were purportedly obtained through social media platforms, and subsequently mailed from Turkey to Germany. The media previously revealed this information.
Despite these searches, no arrests have been reported, leading to the assumption that the suspects primarily reside in Turkey.
