The Scorpions sadly need to scrap several tour dates in Germany due to an accident involving their guitarist, Matthias Jabs (68). Concert organizer Wizard Promotions shared this unfortunate news, stating that Jabs' injury necessitates surgery followed by rehabilitation.

These cancellations affect shows during the ongoing world tour "Love at First Bite" in Nuremberg (11.9.), Hamburg (13.9.), Leipzig (15.9.), Cologne (18.9.), and Frankfurt (20.9.).

This development is a significant blow to the band, as noted in an official statement. "We sincerely regret this decision and offer our apologies to the over 40,000 ticket holders and the promoters. We are working closely with the tour promoters to provide new information as promptly as possible."

The tour derives its name from the album "Love at First Bite," which celebrated its 40th anniversary. This album propelled the band to global fame.

The Scorpions' lead vocalist, Sting, expressed his sympathies toward Matthias Jabs during a heartfelt phone call, offering words of support and encouragement.

Despite Sting's absence from the German shows, the band is keen on engaging a special guest to perform during these canceled concerts, aiming to provide fans with a memorable experience despite the circumstances.
