Berlin and Brandenburg continue to bask in the summer heat's firm grasp, as per the German Weather Service (DWD)'s forecast. Today, temperatures could soar up to 31°C. Some fluffy cumulus clouds might pop up, but the sky will predominantly be clear. Rain isn't on the cards.

From tonight till Thursday, we're looking at mainly clear skies. Temperatures in Berlin and Brandenburg could touch 32 to 35°C, potentially breaking this year's record set on July 10th in South Brandenburg at 34.8°C. DWD might issue a heat warning for the day. Initially, the day starts sunny, but as time passes, more cumulus clouds will emerge.

The weather shift kicks off on Thursday night, sliding into Friday. As per forecasts, certain areas might witness the first showers and thunderstorms. Friday echoes the same, with highs of 24 to 28°C accompanied by intermittent gusts of wind and downpours. The weekend presents a mix of clouds, with showers and thunderstorms possible in South Brandenburg.

The Commission, recognizing the extended heatwave, might decide to issue heat advisories or warnings in alignment with the predicted weather conditions. Following this unusual heat, the Commission shall adopt a decision to encourage precautionary measures and public awareness campaigns.
