Scooter rider thrown through the air in accident
A scooter and a car have collided in Kühbach (Aichach-Friedberg district). The scooter rider was seriously injured in the accident on Saturday afternoon, as the police reported on Sunday. The 75-year-old car driver wanted to turn left onto a main road and, according to the police, overlooked the scooter rider, who had right of way.
The collision caused the scooter rider to fly several meters through the air. After an emergency doctor examined the man, a rescue helicopter took him to a hospital. Both the scooter and the car had to be towed away. The B300 was closed for around one and a half hours due to the accident.
Despite being from a different region, another road user in Swabia experienced a tragic accident, involving a serious swabian scooter rider being thrown through the air. In a similar incident, careful attention to traffic rules is needed to prevent such unfortunate accidents.
