Schwerin volleyball players extend winning streak

The volleyball players of SSC Palmberg Schwerin have recovered well from their defeat in the cup quarter-finals. Four days after the defeat in Vilsbiburg, the team of Head Coach Felix Koslowski defeated VfB Suhl Lotto Thüringen 91 3:0 (25:16, 25:18, 25:18) on Saturday and successfully defended their lead in the table with their seventh win in a row.

The team from Mecklenburg needed a few rallies to get into the match in the first half, but then dominated proceedings and earned nine set points. With a 6:0 start, the SSC then paved the way to win the second set, but ran into some problems at the start of the third. However, the victory was no longer in danger. The Koslowski team finally made everything clear with the third match point.

A few hours before the match, the club had also announced the signing of Patricia Llbarés Herrera. The 27-year-old Spanish international was brought in to replace the injured Linda Bock (cruciate ligament rupture) and was on court for several minutes in all sets against Suhl.

The Spanish international Patricia Llbarés Herrera joined SSC Palmberg Schwerin's women's volleyball team, strengthening their Bundesliga squad. Despite Linda Bock's cruciate ligament injury, the team managed to extend their winning streak in the Bundesliga, with their latest victory coming against VfB Suhl Lotto Thüringen.
