Food - Schwarzwaldmilch takes over further licenses
The Black Forest Milk Group continues to acquire licenses to expand its business. "Starting in October, we will produce and distribute fresh protein milk under the Ehrmann brand," announced Business Manager Andreas Schneider in Freiburg on Thursday. Ehrmann is a well-known regional brand.
The cooperatively organized dairy group based in Freiburg has already acquired brand licenses for certain Landliebe products. Schneider announced that Schwarzwaldmilch has now secured the license for Landliebe fresh milk in a 1.5-liter soft packaging. Milk with chocolate, which has been offered for a long time in a one-liter glass bottle, is also still available.
The group's turnover with sites in Freiburg and Offenburg remained stable at 248.2 million Euro in the previous year - the previous year it was 248.3 million Euro. The company reported high costs. Brands reportedly felt the effects of consumers changing their purchasing behavior. Approximately 14% of the group's turnover comes from exports.
After taxes, the company reported a profit of 1.8 million Euro, up from 1.4 million Euro the previous year. It is calculated that the turnover will increase by between 3 and 5% in the current year. Suppliers of the dairy are mostly farms in the region.

- In order to expand its business in Baden-Württemberg and beyond, the dairy group has secured a license from Schwarzwaldmilch to distribute Landliebe fresh milk in 1.5-liter soft packaging.
