The Broadcasting Device - Schütte's fresh ARD improv program: A wedding in Tyrol
In the near future, episodes filmed with 45 cameras in Itter, Kitzbühel, Tirol will be made available for viewing in the ARD Mediathek. Roughly 250 hours of footage were accrued, with plans to transform this content into a six-part series featuring 30-minute episodes.
Schütt (61) is bringing the Meurer and Hell families from Mecklenburg together with the Pichler family in Tirol for his latest project. The cast already consists of highly recognized characters portrayed by actors Martin Brambach, Luise von Finckh, Lena Klenke, Anja Kling, Gustav Schmidt, and Devid Striesow. Actors Josephine Bloéb, Felix Kreutzer, Tobias Moretti, Roland Silbernagl, Felix Oitzinger, and Sonja Romei are also participating.
According to Jan Georg Schütt, the Grimme Award winner and director, and Sebastian Schultz, the producer and co-director, they wanted to intensify another family gathering and found the perfect opportunity with a wedding, as it brings together two extremely contrasting clans.
