Brandenburg's Minister of Culture Manja Schüle (SPD) aims to strengthen the connection between culture and tourism. "Culture and tourism benefit from each other," Schüle emphasized. Cultural tourism plays a significant role in the long-term strategy for culture in the region. The minister plans to bolster the tourism database of Tourismus-Marketing Brandenburg GmbH to enrich it with cultural data such as anniversaries.

Tourism in Brandenburg experienced a boom last year, with record overnight stays. A significant portion of these overnight stays was due to cultural tourism, particularly in the state capital.

The SPD, with Manja Schüle as its Minister of Culture in Brandenburg, is eager to enhance this success in tourism by strengthening the relationship between culture and tourism. To achieve this, Schüle plans to enhance the tourism database of Tourismus-Marketing Brandenburg GmbH by incorporating cultural data.
