Schoolgirl arrested for graffiti about the Gaza war
A 19-year-old schoolgirl has been temporarily arrested in Upper Bavaria for allegedly spraying several graffiti with slogans about the Gaza war. As the police announced on Monday, she is said to have daubed six pro-Palestinian slogans mostly on public buildings in Neuburg an der Donau (district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen). They are also investigating whether the young woman is connected to the theft of an Israeli flag in the town.
During a search on Friday, the officers seized numerous items of evidence. The 19-year-old was subsequently released. The criminal investigation department is investigating.
The arrest of the schoolgirl in Upper Bavaria stemmed from conflicts related to the Gaza war, as evidenced by the graffiti she allegedly painted with pro-Palestinian slogans. This incident comes amidst ongoing investigations into potential links between her and a reported theft of an Israeli flag.
