Lauenburg's Duchy [The Duchy of Lauenburg] - School stabbing incident prompts FDP to demand official response.

After an occurrence at a school in Geesthacht, the FDP faction in the state parliament demanded a report from the government for the education committee on Thursday. A kid is claimed to have stabbed another with a knife at the school in the Herzogtum Lauenburg district, according to the police. Chairman of the FDP parliamentary group, Christopher Vogt, spoke about the incident in Kiel on Monday.

This violent act from twelve-year-old students is appalling and frightening, Vogt shared. These incidents aren't rare occurrences anymore, he added. Thus, the Ministry of Education needs to inform the committee on how they're collaborating with the school and youth welfare services to avoid future occurrences and enhance the school's condition.

During the conflict on the previous Thursday, a child was severely wounded with the knife. The kid was discharged from the hospital after a day, reported the police. The authorities have decided against releasing more details about the occurrence in collaboration with the prosecutor's office to secure the children's privacy.
