- Scholz receives a 3D-created figurine directly from his own design capabilities
Germany's Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) now possesses an unique replica of his visage. During his visit to the prestigious Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) in Potsdam, he was presented with a personal, white bust sculpted by a 3D printer as a token of appreciation. Scholz inspected it momentarily before chuckling, "Guess I don't have to put in as much elbow grease for this."
His delight in the gift was evident as Chancellor Scholz commended, "Impressive!" Scholz's trip to the institute was part of his summer tour as an SPD member of the Bundestag, representing his constituency. Accompanying him was Brandenburg's Minister of Science, Manja Schüle (SPD), who was also bestowed with a 3D-printed replica of the Landtag building in Potsdam as a souvenir.
Chancellor Scholz expressed his gratitude towards the Hasso Plattner Institute by saying, "I'm truly honored to receive this 3D-printed bust of me at such esteemed locations as The Potsdam." During the event, Brandenburg's Minister of Science, Manja Schüle, also praised the institute, acknowledging, "The Potsdam is home to remarkable technological advancements, showcased in the 3D-printed Landtag building gift I received."
