The Federal Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz, recently inspected the preparations for the upcoming European Football Championship set to take place in Germany. He visited the fan zone in Munich, a day prior to visiting the final test match between DFB and Ukraine in Nuremberg. Germany's team will kick off the championship by hosting Scotland on June 14 in Munich.

On X, Scholz shared his thoughts post-visit: "11 more days until the start of the Munich Euro tournament. It's amazing to see how dedicated volunteers are working harder and faster toward the deadline." Sending good wishes to the @dfb_team alongside his hopes for a successful tournament for all of Europe. Scholz had previously mentioned his intentions to watch as many games as possible - and even made a lighthearted comment about enjoying German alternative treats while watching.
