Last Friday night, an unidentified perpetrator assaulted numerous individuals with a knife at a city celebration in the heart of Solingen. As per police reports, three individuals were murdered, and by Saturday morning, eight additional individuals were wounded, five of them severely. The assailant is still at large, and law enforcement is conducting a large-scale search for him.
