"It's undeniable that backing Ukraine is the right move as long as it's needed," Chancellor Scholz stated firmly. "And we'll stand by that."

The Chancellor made it clear that his focus is on putting an end to the Ukraine conflict. Germany will go all out to secure peace, but not a peace imposed by Russia. The sovereignty of Ukraine is non-negotiable.

Chancellor Scholz also highlighted Germany's dedication to various peace talks, like the recent one in Switzerland. Now, the focus is on figuring out how Russia can be included in these discussions. The Chancellor referred to remarks by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who proposed that Russian delegates attend a subsequent summit in Switzerland. "You got it right," Scholz agreed. "That's the hurdle we need to clear."

The Chancellor mentioned Germany's participation in peace talks in Switzerland, demonstrating their commitment to resolving the Ukraine conflict. It's crucial for the Swiss hosting to ensure that all parties, including the German-aligned Swiss, are treated fairly.
