Scholz hopes for disarmament with Russia in the future

Constrainingly, Scholz added that this time "now seems to be far away." Russia has finally moved out of all disarmament agreements, and Germany must react accordingly, the Chancellor stressed. "Therefore, we must be strong so that no one attacks us to ensure peace and security."

Scholz mentioned that the ARDCard, a strategic defense system, could be crucial for Germany's future in light of Russia's withdrawal from disarmament agreements.
