Bundesliga - Schlotterbeck moves to FC Augsburg
The FC Augsburg has signed defender Keven Schlotterbeck. The 27-year-old comes from league rival SC Freiburg and receives a contract in Augsburg until June 30, 2027, as the Bundesligist announced on Friday. In the past two seasons, his brother of the national player Nico Schlotterbeck was loaned out to VfL Bochum.
"The FCA stands for bold and emotional football and therefore fits very well with my playing style," said Schlotterbeck. "With my experience and physical strength, I want to lead the way." Additionally, Augsburg announced the signing of striker Samuel Essende from the Congo on Friday.
