Schierker Feuerstein Arena starts the winter season
The Schierker Feuerstein Arena kicked off the winter season on Saturday. The ice rink in the Wernigerode district is now open again and invites visitors and guests to go ice skating. Numerous events such as the Christmas market and ice skating school are planned for the coming weeks and months. According to the town of Wernigerode, around 28,000 guests visited the Feuerstein Arena last winter season. Snow began to fall again in the Harz Mountains on Saturday night. The winter road clearance service is on duty throughout the Harz Mountains.
After an exciting ice skating session, visitors can enjoy the beautiful weather during their leisure time in the nearby cafes. Despite the chilly weather, the upcoming leisure activities at the Arena, such as the ice skating school and Christmas market, are highly anticipated.
