Second-tier German football league - Schalke acquires former Bayern Munich youth goalkeeper Hoffmann.

The lower-league football team FC Schalke 04 has added Ron-Thorben Hoffmann, a former young goalkeeper from Bayern Munich, to their roster. Hoffmann signed a contract that will keep him with Schalke until 2027. There are indications that Schalke's current goalkeeper, Marius Müller, may be leaving for Bundesliga team VfL Wolfsburg. After twelve years with the club, Ralf Fährmann is also set to part ways with Schalke.
