At a biogas plant, a man fell approximately four meters from a scaffold and sustained serious injuries. Two helpers were attempting to move the portable scaffold when a wheel came loose, as reported by the police. As the scaffold tipped over, the 44-year-old worker fell about four meters, according to a police spokesperson.

Multiple fire departments, ambulances, and helicopters were deployed for the rescue operation. The worker was flown to a hospital with serious injuries using a winch and a rescue helicopter, a police spokesperson stated. Investigations are underway to determine how the wheel on the scaffold came loose.

The accident occurred at a biogas plant situated in Bavaria. Upon arriving at the scene, several rescue resources were dispatched from Bavaria.
