SC Potsdam gets off to a successful start in the premier class

SC Potsdam's volleyball players have made a successful start to the group stage of the Champions League. The team of coach Riccardo Boieri won 3:0 (25:21, 25:18, 26:24) at the Polish championship third Grot Budowlani Lodz on Tuesday after an all-round convincing performance.

The team from Brandenburg impressed throughout with a stable defensive performance, led by libera Justine Wong-Orantes. In attack, the 1.82-meter-tall Finn Suvi Kokkonen caused the opposing side major problems with her consistent finishing. Things only got tight for the Bundesliga club in the third set, when the Polish side was able to minimize its previously high error rate.

In the Champions League, the Potsdam team will face group favorites Fenerbahce Istanbul at home next Tuesday. The group of four also includes Slovenian champions Calcit Kamnik.

SC Potsdam's volleyball team continues to shine in the Champions League, securing a victory against Grot Budowlani Lodz with a score of 3:0. With the win, they prepare for their next match against group favorites Fenerbahce Istanbul in the Champions League.
