Second-tier German League - SC Paderbon recruits Freiburg's young talent Baur.

Paderborn football club in East Westphalia has acquired offensive player Mika Baur from SC Freiburg for their upcoming season. They made this announcement on Thursday, with no specifics about the contract. The sports director of Freiburg, Klemens Hartenbach, commented that they'll have options for the future.

Baur, a 19-year-old junior national player, has played 61 matches in the third league for Freiburg's second team. By coming to Paderborn, he's seeking a new challenge in his career. Paderborn's sports manager, Benjamin Weber, expressed confidence in Baur's skills and creative play and anticipates increased versatility in their attacking game.

Before Baur's signing, Paderborn had already added Marius Schubert (Vitesse Arnheim), Luca Herrmann (Dynamo Dresden), Felix Götze (Rot-Weiss Essen), and Tjark Scheller (FC St. Pauli II) to their roster for the new season.
