SC Magdeburg defeated TuS N-Lübbecke

In the second test of the summer preparation, the German champions SC Magdeburg face the TuS N-Lübbecke. Without the Olympic players, including finalist Lukas Mertens, they secure the second win.

German handball champions SC Magdeburg won the second test match of the season's preparation. Second-division side TuS N-Lübbecke were defeated by the Magdeburg team in Bernburg 31:27 (10:12). Against the team coached by former Magdeburg player Michael Haaß, a mixed squad of professionals and third-league talents took to the court once again.

Magdeburg's next test matches will take place from August 16 to 18 at the Wartburg Cup in Eisenach. Alongside hosts ThSV Eisenach, VfL Gummersbach and Skanderborg Aarhus Håndbold will also participate in the tournament.

SC Magdeburg's impressive performance continued in their Test match series, securing a victory in the second match against TuS N-Lübbecke. With their sights set on the upcoming Wartburg Cup from August 16 to 18, where they'll face off against ThSV Eisenach, VfL Gummersbach, and Skanderborg Aarhus Håndbold in another Test match series, the team is demonstrating their readiness for the new season.
