- Saxony's BSW Head is Content with Election Outcome
Sabine Zimmermann, the leading figure in Saxony's Green Party, showed delight with their election results. She stated on ARD, "We've managed double-digit scores and kept up with our performance from the European elections. We're proud of this, and rightly so." The changes in politics, she believed, should be noticeable, not just for the party, but for the citizens as well. "And this change should happen quite soon," she added.
At their celebration event, Zimmermann was still thrilled. Turning to her enthusiastic supporters, she exclaimed, "We're writing history here!" Alongside the BSW's state chairman, Jörg Scheibe, she expressed gratitude towards the voters and the dedicated campaign crew. "With us, it's all about a fresh start. We won't be the ones pulling the strings in any potential coalitions," Zimmermann predicted.
