Social Minister Petra Köpping urged Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (both SPD) to negotiate peace in the Ukraine war. She added that we cannot disregard the worries of numerous citizens that this war could expand.

"We need to significantly advance this process." Although Putin is uninterested in talks, international pressure to start peace negotiations is still important.
