Foreign trade - Saxony-Anhalt's foreign trade shrinks
The economy in Saxony-Anhalt exported significantly less in the first nine months of this year. Goods worth 16.7 billion euros were exported to other countries, 9.6 percent less than in the same period last year, according to the State Statistical Office in Halle on Thursday. Imports also fell. Goods worth 17.8 billion euros were imported into Saxony-Anhalt. This corresponds to a drop of 5.9 percent compared to the first three quarters of 2022. These are preliminary results of the foreign trade statistics.
