Numerical Analysis - Saxony-Anhalt experiences a minor decline in water consumption.

Residents of Saxony-Anhalt are using less drinking water, with the average person consuming just 103 liters per day in 2022. This is a significant decline from the 105 liters per day in 2019, the 96.8 liters in 2016, and the 95.5 liters in 2015.

The Statistical Office reports that the total water consumption in Saxony-Anhalt for 2022 was 126.1 million cubic meters. Households and small businesses drank down around 81.4 million cubic meters, while commercial organizations and other users consumed 44.7 million cubic meters of this supply.

In contrast, water companies provided a whopping 127.3 million cubic meters to end users in 2019. Roughly 84.1 million cubic meters were consumed by private homes and small businesses, while commercial entities and other users consumed 43.1 million cubic meters.
