Saxon state parliament convenes for second day of session
Higher wages in the public sector, the steel industry and Saxony's cultural landscape - the state parliament in Dresden will be dealing with current debates and questioning the state government on its second day of sitting this week on Thursday. Culture Minister Barbara Klepsch (CDU) will take the floor on the topic of "A sense of home and tourism factor: Making Saxony's cultural landscape fit for the future". The MPs will also discuss a motion by the CDU, Greens and SPD coalition parties on the subject of the shortage of skilled workers in the healthcare and nursing professions.
