SAP: Acquisition of software management company LeanIX
The software group SAP has acquired the Bonn-based software management company LeanIX. This was announced by the DAX-listed company from Walldorf in Baden-Württemberg on Wednesday. The companies did not disclose the purchase price.
The "Handelsblatt" newspaper reported on the impending takeover in September. According to the newspaper's information at the time, LeanIX could reach a valuation of just under 1.2 billion euros. SAP hopes that the takeover will strengthen its portfolio for business transformations. LeanIX enables customers to gain an overview of their existing IT systems.
