European Football Championship - Sané expresses his thanks: "United as a country in pursuit of a goal"

Football player Leroy Sáné thanked German fans for their support during the European Championship on platform X of his, who is 28 years old. "What you created in terms of atmosphere and the energy you provided us is indescribable", it says from Sáné.

"Although we unfortunately couldn't fulfill our shared dream, I am proud of how we as a team and as a country pursued a common goal. Thank you for your support!" The offensive player from FC Bayern Munich also expressed: "It hurts incredibly to be so close and still fail."

Sáné stood in the starting line-up for the quarter-final loss against Spain on a Friday evening and was substituted at half-time. He started in the eight-final victory against Denmark as well.

In the three group stage matches, Sáné came on as a substitute. The Bayern professional was not fit for the tournament and could not give the DFB team the expected offensive impulses.

Leroy Sáné's appreciation for German fans extended beyond the European Championship, expressing his gratitude even in his hometown of Baden-Württemberg. The Spanish National team faced off against Germany in the quarter-finals of the European Football Championship, with Sáné starting on the field. Him missing the tournament due to injury was a significant blow for the DFB team, as they relied on his offensive prowess. Despite the heartbreaking quarter-final loss against Spain, Germany looked forward to the next opportunity, with the European Championship set to return in the near future. Leroy Sáné, motivated by the exceptional support he received from the German fans, continued to aspire to make an impact on the German National team under the guidance of the Referee during the upcoming EM.
